Gotcha. I switched to U-Verse this year, so I'm not up to date with what they're doing. The only TV game I've seen was the Barbe-LaGrange game. That one somehow made it onto one of the Fox sports stations. I haven't seen any others.

Part of it is I've been going to more games this year too. Haven't been sitting at home on Fridays.

Debating right now between going to see Beckwith and East Feliciana against Notre Dame or going to Barbe. I'm leaning Barbe. Could be epic.

For the Guy that went to the parkway/barbe game where his interceptions ugly, wr drops or over/underthrown deep balls? I think makes a big difference in whether or not game shoulda had a lot wider margin an whether there defense was good or lucky

The score was 45-35. Neither defense was good that night.

A good defense can be made to look bad against a good offense not unheard of

Barbe has a legit offense. They're as legit as it gets. Like I said, their offense won't decide this game. The game will be decided by Barbe's defense. Can they get off the field? We shall see.

Well I don't think its all on barbes d they will make some stops but I think Fontenot makes some mistakes in the redzone with his arm if he commits 2 or less turnovers I think barbe wins if he throw 3 pics I think it will be very difficult to overcome against a team as good as Wm

If this Quinn kid is as good as advertised, why throw the ball anywhere else? Is there anybody on WM that can actually cover him? Beucase Quinn reportedly made fellow possible LSU secondary recruits look silly in camps over the summer.

It'll be Quinn vs Xavier Woods with Stone over the top IMO. They moved X to Safety a while back, but hope he gets to man up on Quinn this game. Xavier will sign with a BCS school.

Because Barbe has many other weapons to choose from, including a future SEC Tight End, a great Running back, and other very capable receivers!

I read Barbe threw three picks in the first half, but they were still tied 28-28 at halftime. If Barbe didn't shoot itself in the foot repeatedly, they probably would have had the game iced by halftime, it sounds like.

Parkway shot itself in the foot as well. They were up 28-21 with a little over 2 min. left in the first half and were at the Barbe 30 and driving down the field when they fumbled the ball. They could have been up 2 scores and received the ball the begining of the second half. Parkway had 3 turnovers and Barbe did what good teams do and capitalized on them. Parkway had 3 fumbles, one of them in the last 6 min. of the game where the QB stretched the ball over the pylon and fumbled for a touchback. Parkway also tried a onsides kick after tying the game at 35 and didn't recover it and held Barbe to a long field goal try that they missed, they also had a punt from their goaline that went 5 yards that the Parkway D stepped up and held them to a field goal.Parkway had thier chances and didn't capitalize. As far as Barbe's offense, the big tightend didn't do a thing agianst Parkway, Fontenot was the key to their success, the kid kept plays alive with his legs, very shifty and hard to bring down. Parkway had them to 3rd and 4th and long several times and the kid stepped up and made the plays. Quinn is impressive, very fast and has good hands. The one long bomb happened because the QB stretched out the play and the db's came up because they thought he was running and Quinn took advantage and went deep and was wide open. The other 3 td's were very short and inside the 10 yardline with our db giving a cushion of 5 yards and retreating when the ball was snapped thus all he had to do is go to the goaline and turn around. The key to beating Barbe is to contain their QB, he extended the play with his legs so many times agianst Parkway. It was a good and exciting game and I'm proud of how Parkway played and Barbe made the plays necessary and deserved the win. I hope Barbe wins so at least we can say that we lost to the State Champs.

I don't recall many dropped balls, all the receivers had good hands, for the most part he was accurate. The interceptions were caused by pressure. One he just threw up for grabs to Quinn and to be honest, I thought it could have been called a simultaneous catch but our guy came off the ground with the ball. Quinn has some hopps too. The other 2 were just trying to force it into coverage because he was under pressure. The Qb really extends plays with his legs and gives his wr's time to get open. Barbe is a good team and deserved the win and I wish them good luck

He missed a 45 yarder that landed in the stands, then made the 47 yarder. Should be a great matchup.

After looking at it-- barbe has the offensive weapons to beat WM. what's their o-line like? With no line, no win- haha!
WM will blitz every other play and dominate line of scrimmage like always but is barbe's o-line gonna put up a fight?
