Is this going to change at all any time soon? It is sort of ridiculous to keep it this way..

Since the Big 10 has 12 teams, and they just invited Rutgers/Maryland, wouldn't they now be the Big 14?

ETA: that is if Maryland/Rutgers accepts..

Yeah for real. They really need to get it right before they design their network logoS!

I think I heard so degree that the Big XII has already copyrighted the Big 14 name.. I could be wrong though

I don't know what that would mean for the Big 10 as far as naming rights go..

I heard someone suggest the Leaders and Legends divisions be renamed to Overrated and Irrelevant...

Name recognition and brand. Won't change.

I've decided that the most appropriate thing to do is to ignore whatever it is that they want to call themselves. I'm going to refer to the Big-10 as the "Big North" with the two divisions, losers and cheaters. The Big-12 I am just going to call the "Big South". The Pac-12 may as well be referred to as the "Big West". The ACC and SEC have kept their names and haven't needed to change them, therefore I will accept those.

So Bucnut. how does it feel to know that OSU would be on the verge of making the national title game if they wouldn't have gotten in trouble for lying and playing a bunch of ineligible players? Do you feel like you've been sufficiently punished now?

Doesn't really bother me all that much to be honest.

Actually, they're mulling over calling them the "Losers" and "Liars" (Ohio State, Penn State will be in that one for sure)

Awesome coming from a Bama fan. I know yall have a rich history of integrity.

good idea. call the conferences real names of other conferences. that should help avoid all confusion.
