To be fair the 5 true fans of the falcons realize and admit that their fans base is the worst in the league. But that's what happens when your team is located in the biggest carpet bagger city in the country.

if we come back and win the division..make it into the playoffs, and can somehow end up in the superbowl in new orleans..after everything we have been through, there would be no words to describe the joy i would feel.

It wasn't an on the record quote. The reporter heard Decoud mumble it to some other players so he didn't present it the way writers do official quotes but Decoud still said it
