Official I missed a deer thread

I Missed a real good buck yesterday afternoon 11/9. I am ashamed. I know the OB outdoorsmen have never missed a deer and only heard stories of people doing so.

Killed at least one deer a year since I was 7 years old. I've hit a few I didn't get, but never have missed one

My brother missed a big one yesterday twice.
Ive missed a few over the years but only one that was a slam dunk. Got my glove caught on the trigger of a 30-30. It was a 7 pt 15 yds from my std. I put another one in and dropped him in his tracks.
I missed a big 6 pt walking away from me at 250yds he spoiled and ran right at me and stopped I didn't miss him that time.

A week ago I hit a limb on what would have been my biggest buck ever.
This morning he came back and I had him at 7 yards. I drew back and was about to shoot when he must have winded me and took off.
Im sick about it. I came out of the woods early.

With my rifle I've never missed and never tracked, but the way my food plot is set up I'm only taking about a 100 yard shot in all directions. Missed a big 8 with my bow last season. It would have been my first deer with my bow and I shot right over his shoulder

Ill save you a seat. On a side note the bucks are chasing in NWLA just had a young 6 point run a doe about 15 yards infront of my stand

Wish I could. That was the 1st time I've seen it that close. The bucks are about to get real stupid over here. If I only thought with my dick a couple weeks of the year I could be a pretty productive citizen.

Kind of a miss, bad pyrodex caused 2 misfires. One at 7 and one at 15. Not a monster but fil wanted me to shoot one for him to tag
