Idiot salesmen?

Nah.

Aren't they lowering prices on club seats? If they are selling or sold, why do that?

I only read that on this board. If they are, then, yes, they want to move more tickets.

However, how could they all be sold with an average of 12k per game sold now? Preseason attendance tells you what the sales are... no way the 9.3k is most of the lower bowl. Maybe some are sold as plans, not as sth, but then they are like 1/4 sold or so.

I only understood a part of that.

What a fricking stupid thread to keep up all season. I don't care if I'm the only fan in the arena, I'll still support the team. The Hornets will never be on the level of the Saints in popularity. Maybe the rebrand will bring in more interest.

Hey, genius, excuses are necessary when something falls short of expectation. The expectation by those who follow such matters in a serious fashion is poor attendance.

You've been told the factors, but it's your expectations that are out of whack, not the attendance.

Learn. Read. Or shall we start a thread?

Dolt.

yeah but bumping it every damn game is ridiculous. season long threads have already been banned on MSB. they will be banned here. be careful.

thanks for your cooperation.

i wont be able to attend any games until after this semester ends. grad school is killing the frick out of me. economics was a good choice for after graduation job stability and salary but its not good for sanity while in school.

how's your's treating you?

pretty good. i'm definitely staying busy. but i'm enjoying it so far. sandy kinda put a halt to things up here pretty solidly, but i got to go to a game while i was home last week, so that was good. i'ma try to make it to at least 3 or 4 while i'm home over winter break.

The only thing that will bring interest is time. Kids love basketball. It's the older, sheeple that say stuff like "New Orleans is a football town." when you ask why they don't care about the NBA.

Support will level out. But the team has to stay here long term for it to happen. Which, luckily, it seems poised to do.

So instead of adding to this thread we are expected to make new ones and clutter up the board even more?

Those numbers won't be the same in April.

You are expect to have a conversation. You are expected to make points, have others make them, then move on.

Pointing to a number in the box score has no value . . . because it's in the box score. Where's the discussion? Where's the news? Where's the insight?

Then, when people talk about the context in which these numbers fit, you do not participate.

Some say this is because you are just starting trouble.

I say it's because you are incapable of advanced thought. You may call them "big thoughts." A thought is like a little picture in your head, by the way.

So, make a point, and maybe you'll see less resistance.

For example, I've said the attendance will be bad this year. Once. In a well-composed post based on data and projections. I wasn't called a troll (and I was right). You are simply restating facts that we all know and really don't need to know too much more about since they are in line with expectation. An expectation is something you think will happen, so a little picture in your head of something before you actually see it.

So, make a new point if you can, or have your mom do it if you like.

not gonna happen. this board needs an admin. like one of us. we've proposed it before, but it was shut down.

eta: and don't go to the help board because then the OTers will flock to the help board and call us a bunch of pussies

We'll see. I've caused enough trouble to get a thread anchored before. If we just keep talking about nothing and disrupting the board unitnetionally by making things all IMy, then it will get anchored.

It just takes dedication.

So what is the temperature there?
