Per wikipedia: quote:Tom Brady holds the record for most consecutive regular season uninterrupted games with at least one touchdown pass, one better than Brees.

And exactly zero frick are given.

I enjoyed watching Henne throwing it away on fourth down.

Brees' INT was better

Unitas' record is impressive b/c he played in an era where they were throwing the ball probably 30 times tops. Now Brady and Brees routinely gets 40+ pass attempts.

Actually they threw 10-15 times tops in a game during those times. 30 is way too high brah. I read somewhere that Unitas threw 2 TDs in one of games in his streak in which he only had 7 pass attempts.

And the Jags kick an onside kick, up 17-3, in the 1st half

From your link:

quote:

Note: Unitas' official streak was interrupted by an injury after 21 consecutive games with a touchdown pass,[2] Brees' official streak was interrupted by not playing week 17 of the 2009 regular season after 11 consecutive games with a touchdown pass,[54] and Marino's official streak was interrupted by the 1987 NFL players' strike after 25 consecutive games with a touchdown pass.

Interesting stuff. Unitas is still my GOAT. I'm thinking that injury is where he blew out his elbow but still came back to QB with his arm damn near held together by shoestring.

Technically Brees only had 11 before his streak was officially interrupted.

When a thread gets started by a dude that is so furious he makes dumb, reaching comments, he needs to get dealt with.

1. the point being is Unitas record WASNT uninterrupted.

2. IDGAF...Brees has the record that people care about.

3. Even then....Brees now has a td pass in 38 UNINTERRUPTED games for people that give more than a zero fricks.

I am soooo furious.....roid rageee!!! You're just a lame little guy. You sure dealt with me. I will never discuss the Saint's Swiss cheese defense or their immaculate 2-4 record ever again

Which is the same as Brady correct?

I thought people GAF about both. Of course I can see where that point may vary from a Saints fan to a Patriots fan and so on.

Personally, and I'm being unbiased here because I like Brees, I think Unitas' streak was more impressive. Just based on the factors surrounding it such as the period he played in and the injuries he accomplished it through. But I'm sure because the OP is losing his shite, I'm going to get called a biased Bucs fan or something.
