GM has a great voice. Careless whisper is a fantastic song. When Faith came out it was unreal the response to that song.Very underated in my book.

Underrated? As much as he was plastered across the TV and forced on us in the late 80's I'd go ahead and say overrated to this day. I still get nauseous to my stomach while hearing anything off that album.

However, I still feel the need to dance when listening to Freedom or Monkey.

What? You crazy.

Faith was full of awesome songs.
Plus, it was a panty dropping album at the time.

I can remember my two eldest sisters freaking out when they found out the George liked to suck cock and stuff. I, being a couple years younger but wise beyond my years, knew it all along. My guess is that they were so enamoured by his twitching butt in the Faith video that they simply refused to believe he was a fig. My vast adolecent wisdom was not without its ups and downs when it came to George though. Case in point, I thought George was really bitching about a jilted lover who would not part with their pet monkey. Despite the monkey obviously having an adverse effect on their relationship and George's heartfelt pleas for them to release the monkey.

But I digress. I think George is rated where he ought to be. Right beside Boy George and those other 80's limey figs.

GM was a fantastic singer, but he got pigeonholed thanks the MTV visuals he's remembered for and the way things well, spun out publicly for him.

btw any Always Sunny fans like myself would appreciate the hilarious use of "Freedom" in last season's finale.

I thought the short lived show 'Eli Stone' made good use GM's music in season one.

I would say slightly underrated.

Check out this rendition of "Somebody to Love" that he did at the Freddie Mercury Tribute Concert. He freakin kills it.
