Not much going on these days. Hardly anything on the free sites.

2014:
PalmettoSports.comOL Jake Whitley (6-4 295) of North Augusta (S.C.) has yet to receive an offer but is hearing from Clemson, Mississippi State, NC State, Michigan, LSU, Alabama, Florida State, Auburn, Missouri, Notre Dame and Auburn.

Whitley has visited Clemson twice including the Ball State game. "I'll probably get back up there for another game this year," he said. This weekend he travels to Michigan for the Illinois contest. He is showing a lot of interest in the Wolverines. "I love the tradition and I know it's a good program," he said. "Other than that, I don't know much about them. I'll be able to tell you more next week." He has been to an NC State game and is considering trips to LSU and Notre Dame.

PalmettoSports.comOL Taylor Hearn of Williston-Elko (S.C.) has USC and Clemson as his top two schools. Clemson has offered with interest coming from USC, LSU, NC State, North Carolina and Mississippi State among others.

Hearn plans to attend games at LSU and either UNC or NC State this season. Neither of those visits have been scheduled. He did not name a leader .

2013:
PalmettoSports.com (Robert) Nkemdiche said his mother’s opinion does have an influence on him.
“It’s hard,” he said. “I’m trying to stay as focused as I can. It’s obvious she really wants me to play with my brother (at Ole Miss). It’s super hard on me. I love my mom to death and she does have a say so in my college choice, I’m, not going to lie. But I got to do what I got to do. It’s hard not to please her but I try.”

PalmettoSports.comTE Josh McNeil of Durham, NC, who has been committed to Alabama since July, plans to take all five of his official visits and Clemson will get one of his stops. McNeil tweeted on Friday that he will schedule visits to Clemson, Alabama, LSU, Florida and Georgia.

Tigernet.com (Clemson Recruiting) Montravios Adams quotes stolen from ESPN: “People say that Auburn and Clemson are my leaders, but that is not really accurate,” Adams said. “I like both of them, but I really do not have a top one or top two schools yet. That is just how people put it out there. They might have the advantage of me knowing about them more, but if I visit another school and I like it there, that could be the place for me.”

ETA:
Free Scout article on 2014's #1 recruit No mention of LSU, but The Tigers have offered.

“I have lost count of how many scholarships I have,” said Hand. “I think I have around 70. I get 50 to 100 letters a day. Honestly, I don’t really worry about it. I know it seems weird for a kid to say that, but I’m honestly focusing on school and just enjoying being young. You only get to be in high school once, so you might as well enjoy it.”

“I don’t know when I’ll make my decision – whenever the time is right,” he said. “Ideally I would like to decide after my senior season.”
