Says the guy who replied to a post full of facts with the brilliant insight of "too much fail to comprehend".

It's always interesting to see how people expect other people to react when they run into a thread like their hair is on fire.

Sensible discussion can be had, you don't want it though.

Again, my post you responded to was nothing but facts. Your response "too much fail to comprehend". Do you not see the issue there?

Watch football much? (1)He led a terrible Auburn program to a 14-0 season with multiple comebacks from double digit deficits. The Panthers went from being the worst team in the league to (2)winning 6 games (which could have easily been 10) in his first year while setting almost every rookie QB record out there.

1. Terrible Auburn program? Little bit of an exaggeration I'd say. Also, we love to forget the fact that Auburn that year had a solid defense, a senior laden offensive line, and a work horse running back. Cam was clearly the best player on the field every week, but he wasn't leading the Little Giants to victory.

2. He's a big reason why the Panters are competitive, period, but to say that 6 wins could easily have been 10 wins is not factual. Close losses are still losses.

Like I told the other pro-Cam guy, he doesn't need y'all to defend him all the time. He's going to be a fine NFL QB, but he needs to work out some kinks first.

Did you see Auburn the two years before and two years since? Outside of 09 we have been an embarrassment to the SEC. Did he have help? Sure, but that was a 8 maybe 9 win team at the very best without him.

He took them from being the worst team in the league to being a competitive team week in and week out. The Panthers have lost in every crazy way imaginable over the last two years and yes some of those have been on Cam but it's easy to see how quickly and how much he improved that team.

I'm fine with people criticizing him but when the Vince Young and Jamarcus Russell comments come out it's a level of stupidity I have to call out.

I don't know what my delusion is. Admittedly, all I've done here is say that I think Cam is a POS and I expected him to fail at the pro level and want him to. I understand that isn't adding a lot to the thread, but what I don't understand is countering those statements with a bunch of "well, he came back in this game, etc." I don't know what the hell that has to do with anything about what kind of person he is.

I think my blind hatred (which isn't blind, I know I hate him) is no different than the homer's defense of him.

Truth.

The difference is the people, not necessarily you, saying things like he's on the Jamarcus Russell and Vince Young career path have absolutely nothing to back up those statements with other than the fact he put a towel over his head on the sideline. Which, by the way, was fine when he was playing great.

The people defending him point to his incredible success in college, his ability to rally a team and program behind him, coming into the league and having the best statistical season ever for a rookie QB, and immediately turning the worst team in the league into a very competitive team.

Yesterday and the NYG game were probably his two worst games as a pro but if Louis Murphy gets in from the 1 yard line when Cam hit him and he had space to do so or if the Panthers call a Cam run from the shotgun on 4th and 1 they almost certainly win that game yesterday. He deserves criticism for his on field performance yesterday but the crap he gets on here is way over the top and we all know why.
