I was just stating that he could do a pre-CPA program for his hours, then go for the MBA down the line if he wanted to instead of working on a MS Acct. He did say that he was just working on the MSA for the hours. Do the CPA program now, get your hours, work on MBA later.

Yup, I've been pretty impressed with everything so far. The faculty are top notch, extremely intelligent and at the same time fantastic teachers.

People look at me like I'm crazy when I tell them that I had a blast doing my MBA. It wasn't without some challenges, and I was certainly happy to be done... but I still enjoyed it.

My new job has tuition reimbursement that kicks in after a year, and I'm already eyeballing some other stuff.

Wanted to say that I too agree an MBA right after ungraded/previous graduate course is too early. MBAs are meant to be serious business for professionals to be better managers. The best programs bring in those individuals who manage groups and teams, not 20-something's trying to buy their way to a better salary.

Come back for the MBA once you get into a role to where you can use the MBA. This coming from someone who also did the undergrad, MAcc/CPA route. I too want an MBA, but it makes no sense for me to do so right now.

The people in my MBA program (and they were pretty greatly outnumbered....or just kept quiet a lot ) who had little or no business experience stood out like a sore thumb.

They were frequently steamrolled in discussions as well.
