"A big reason for the Saints' 0-4 start is a defense that's giving up an absurd 463.3 yards per game (easily dead last in the league). That's a worse figure than anything Enron ever reported. "

okay, so we are 0-4, whatever. Tough shite.

I just want a win god dammit.

Look, the Chargers aren't exactly an offensive powerhouse like they have been before. Their running game isn't that great but our run defense is bad. Something has to give

they are thin at cornerback but Lance Moore isn't playing so that kinda evens it out.

I know no one will agree with me but I think our defense will come up with a big game. Yeah. You're fricking right I said it. I guess if I'm wrong someone can bump this thread so everyone can point and laugh at me.

I don't give a frick if they give up a lot of yardage. I just feel like they are gonna come up with some turnovers and do a better job of limiting the big play.

signed,

delusional fan

Hey, I'm with you.

I'm positive the defense will improve every game (it helps that they set the floor so low).

I thought they held GB to fewer points than everyone expected.

I'm excited.

This is true! BUT, neither were Washington, Carolina, or KC! And as we know, they lit up our D.

BUT, I think the Saints come out strong, D plays inspired, and actually the Saints rock the Chargers...

a big part was the turnovers. Props to Bunkley for knifing through down there on the goal line and pretty much causing that fumble that Jenkins recovered. Plays like that don't happen very often. I know in the end we came up short but its plays like that that give me a glimmer of hope.

And don't forget a very rare Rodgers pick by P-Rob.
