Modern (or any Redemptorist fans/alums), do you think you get a win this week? If not, do you go 0-10?

Bonnabel against a bad Hahnville team is still the underdogs according to this site...

That bad Hahnville team is still better than a good Chalmette team.

The only games im expexting us to win is against northeast and Capitol.

Our homecoming game is gonna be HUGE this year. And its on a thursday. From what i heard, the new gym got repainted and is gonna be re-dedicated. Also they making homecoming an all week and weekend thing this year.

They gonna honor the 02' state champ team, and all the old coaches are supposed to be coming back.

The hype level is gonna be huge because of the factors.

Guy Mistretta (RHS ALUM, and prev coach) coming back to his school for homecoming, and his old players from 02' are coming back as well....

When Redempt can get back on its feet im looking at RHS/Dunham being a next big time rivalry in BR.

Good luck then. Northeast is better than they were last year. It should be a close game. Have you seen RHS play this year? If they can stop the run, then you shouldn't have much trouble with Northeast.

And I think Redemptorist catches Dunham at a good time in the schedule. It'll be on a short week after they play U High, and the older kids who grew up beating U High every year will want to try and upset another highly ranked team. If they lose (which they most likely will), RHS will definitely be more energized and hyped for the game.

I also agree with you that this has the potential to be a big rivalry for both schools.

It is a shame St. Aug isn't playing Jesuit this year. I can't wait until the Catholic League is back like it used to be.

No joke.. the rivalries just aren't the same.

When I started high school it was Jesuit, Brother Martin, Rummel, Holy Cross, Shaw, St. Aug and De La Salle.

Only 3 of those teams are in it this year.

Salmen 6 St. Paul's 0 start of second half. Chuck Baker hauled in a TD catch on a 4th down in the first quarter.

too bad we won't find out...

i said east jeff and easton would be a good game, but i didn't see a triple overtime upset coming

you'd think coming from 34-6 down last week that Easton would be spent, and on a shorter week too

what is it about coach Salt teams once they get a little hype about them? them against St. Aug will still probably decide a share of district though, and will be a must-see game

Games of interest

Neville v Bastrop - Nevile defense is legit

Central v Zackary - Give me Central

Acadiana v Barbe- Barbe but the over is 70

Shaw v Belle Chase - Coin Flip, BC?

STM v Teurlings - Rebels by 2-3 Tds

Acadiana keeps Barbe's offense off the filed, shortens the gme, and pulls out a W.

Barbe's D hasn't looked so great thus far. They have the best offense in the state, but that doesn't matter if they're on the sidelines. Barbe very well might blow them out. Choosing chalk all the time is boring though.
