It's early since we're only 1/4 through the season, but we compare well so far.

Note -- our next opponent, Auburn = worst offense and second worse defense.

That's what I'm excited to see. I really expect us to have a great game against Auburn. I think an away game will be the perfect team to get our team to reach for their potential as we get ready for a tough game in Gainesville.

We are scary good but we will have had about the easiest schedule an sec team could possibly have through the first five games of the season.

These stats mean so much seeing as our opening three games were against such staunch opposition.

Or our entire defense at full strength.

That includes the absences of TM7 and Tahj Jones as well as minor injuries to Downs and Loston.

I'm glad our backups are getting some game experience under their belts early on in the season. It's going to pay off down the stretch and in seasons to come.

I have to force myself to keep my focus on this year, and not look ahead to next.

Yes sir. Things are lining up for the 2013 season. We lose a good bit, but there are some interesting pieces returning next year. Really depends who decides to leave early, but next year could be like our 2010 team or better if Mett gives us one more.

That is why you recruit depth. You can lose guys and the unit stays as effective.
