Places to eat in Houston around the Galleria...

Will be staying there this weekend & looking for some suggestions for lunch & supper, any price range, any type food, any suggestions appreciated! TIA

Lots of great restaurants on that list and prices that you can never get outside of this timeframe. My wife and I had a great dinner at Brennan's last weekend. You just have to mention Houston Restaurant Week when you make the reservation.

Fogo lde chao is on west helmer... It's a Brazilian barbecue like Texas. de brazil just on steroids... Way better

Went to Cyclone Ayana (something like that) when I was there recently and it was very good...just super loud.

For lunch in the immediate Galleria area-Argentina Cafe, India's, Zabak's, Kenny and Ziggy's

For dinner in the immediate Galleria area-Pappa Brothers, Capitol Grille, Truluck's, RDG, Masraff's, Philippe


For lunch a little farther away from the Galleria-Goode Company Seafood, Local Foods, Torchy's, Istanbul Grill, Cafe Rabelais, Barnaby's, Niko Niko's, Hay Merchant on the weekends opens at 11, Les Givral or Thein An

Dinner a little farther away-Hugo's, Mark's, Da Marco, Underbelly, Uchi, Kata Robata, Oxheart, Oporto if you catch happy hour

Breakfast/brunch-Hugo's, Breakfast Klub, Goode Company Taqueria, La Guadalupana

All the ones listed so far. I like Maggiano's as well.

They give you a metric shite ton of meat on your sandwich.

Maggiano's is good. Last time i was in that area, i ate there, and didn't even know it was a chain until i got back home and googled them. Felt like a sucka, but i've since gave them credit ... the damn food was just good.

That's a good way to put it. It was on DDD, but I'd skip it.

Cafe Mezza & Grille at 6100 Westheimer.
Order the mango stuffed chicken. It is delicious. So many wonderful flavors going on. All 4 in our party loved it.

In the galleria mall. Lunch- daily grille I think its called. Get the California club- its so good
