If Miles leaves he better damn well take Crowton with him to be his OC in Michigan.

Best case scenario is we beat A&M then Miles takes Michigan job and takes Crowton's arse with him! We get a great off minded coach cause Chavis turns down Texas or if he leaves Peleni comes back! Then next year we laugh at how stupid Miles is and at Michigan for wanting him so bad! Prob never happen but wouldn't it be great!

Texas already hired a DC, I thought? The guy from Miss St.

Would love to see Leach and his offense and Chavis continue to improve the defense and finally stop playing weak arse zone coverage on 3rd and long and we are a beast again!

Chavis is replacable. He is a competent SEC coordinator. There are plenty of guys who can pick up where he left off. The guy I am worried about losing is Frank Wilson. He has taken our recruiting to a new level.

There is no amount of talent that can keep Les from losing fewer than 2 games in any given year

If Miles stay it will look like this:

Miles stays...we keep Crowton...recruting class stays together...we don't develop recruiting class...Bama, Arky, and soon to be Miss. St. pass us up... lose at least two games in '11 and every year forward we have Miles.

What makes me wonder if it's already a done deal is that no word out of Michigan; the Harbaugh and Hoke stuff is fluff (maybe) and Miles is low, low on the speculative radar (except here). Sometimes it's not what is said, but what is not said that you gotta watch closest. I think Les may be gone.

They believe they will win a NC next year with or without Miles, although they would appreciate the continuity.

My guess is that Miles thinks so too and Miles is presently interviewing OC's. Miles will stay and lead LSU to another BCS national championship.

I talked to a few of my sources that have kept me in the loop throughout the entire Ridley situation (and turned out to be correct)
how exactly were they correct?

no he didn't...he said he would likely be reinstated...it wasn't definitive, and anyone could have guessed that...

Chicken, you're being pretty hard on Slackster. It is my belief that Slackster's info has been every bit as definitive as Belowpar's. Slackster never said "100%, take it to the bank, BOOK IT!" But then again, neither does Belowpar.

belowpar has been definitive about info on several occasions...by the way, I know belowpar...I think that is the difference...and I am not being hard on slackster at all...

Really the most important part of Slacksters message.

You are an angry little elf aren't you!

You cared enough about what the players think to click on the thread, dumbass.

Learn some reading comprehension skills- I never said the players have any real information, and I cannot tell you how they feel by myself, but I can ask them what they think. I simply reported the answer I have hear from a few players

Chicken, how on Earth could anyone have known the NCAA's decision before it was made? I laid down the details as they were recanted to me regarding Ridley, just as I am doing so today. If I am wrong, so be it, but I will never claim to have concrete information in the first place. Besides, like I have already stated, the players could be totally wrong about the vibes since they obviously do not have any access to the truth about his future. This is simply what a few of them believe will happen.

BTW, I rarely post any info unless I have very good sources and I am able to validate the same story between more than one of my sources, so I would hope that keeps my "e-cred" pretty high. Even then, I have offered to disclose my sources to you in the past, but you declined.
