If you didn't read comic books growing up, I most likely would never want you to be my friend. Consequently, you will not be on the guest list for my birthday at chuck E cheese

I read comics here and there when I was little. I was just asking to see if anyone in here was like 30 years old and still reading comic books

If you do, we'll OK.

What's the difference in reading comics at 30, and watching comics based movies and tv shows at 30? Now I don't read comics like I did when I was a younger, but there are a bunch of comics I'd love to catch up on if I could find the time (I did buy the 1st Justice League from the 52 "reboot", and I'd love to be able to catch up on more of the DC 52 comics).

I still keep up with about 5 titles via torrents and whatnot. There's a lot more than 5 titles worth of good stuff out there though, I just don't have the time to get into them.

Didn't mean to upset the comic readers.

I wasn't being a dick in my post about if y'all read them now or not. Was just curious

I'm 34 and have never read a comic until last week. I've been wanting to get into some and iBooks made it easy by offering Justice League Orgins for free so I thought why not. So far I like it.

Do yourself a favor and read real books. You're an adult now.

Because you can't do both?

You're posting about a comic book TV show in the movie section of a sports board. Get over yourself.

Over 30 and still try to go by the comic shop once a month to stock up on the newest books. Not nearly as many as I use to, but the story lines that hold my interest.

Exactly. Reading comics or watching comic based movies and/or tv shows are basically the same thing, just different mediums.

I know.

Comic readers are used to getting trolled a bit(see bbap's half-hearted attempt) so you have to understand their defensiveness.

Yep. Marvel Unlimited App is amazing if you just want to read, and aren't doing it for collecting purposes.
