I don't care how young we are - FSU did it with a freshman QB. Brandon Harris is good enough to take us to the ship.

Not to say it's impossible, Florida State had a much easier road than an SEC team would have...and then they got what I consider arguably the second or third best team in the SEC last year.

Because we don't support your insane view that we have the best linebacking corps in the country?

C'mon.

Because you fail to see that Kwon and Beckwith are both elite football players that are going to wreck shite in the NFL one day.

That's harsh, man. I didn't say anything negative. I have lots of faith in this team, but I am also aware that they are young and have deficiencies. I was pointing out that there are differences between the LSU situation this year and the FSU situation last year.

None of us are saying that they won't wreck shite in the NFL one day.

Jeez man, take it down a notch.

I appreciate the enthusiasm though.

Beckwith had 4 tackles and a pick six IIRC. Welter tied Kwon for the team lead in tackles with 8 I believe. I don't remember him being in on that many stops, but that's what they said on the radio.

This LSU team is special if we play the right players. We are a legit NC contender, and have a chance to make history. We should win out if we play Harris and Beckwith.

I'll fricking fight anyone who disagrees with me.

yeah I saw that and it was great, but was more curious about his play other than that.

big and fast. he was plugging the right gaps and playing good coverage of the running back.

he'll get better and better with more experience. with the lack of depth at DT, we really need a big guy like him at mlb to stop the opposing running backs

Welter makes tackles....usually with a guy dragging him several yards past the LOS. And when Welter takes a false step, he has no chance to recover, even against the NMSU type teams. He should not be starting. Period.

Not allow them to score, unlike Welter who every single time he was in on MSU they scored and the one time this creampuff team scored was when he was in the game. That 79 yard run was ridiculous and both Welter/dline should be ashamed of their play.

I still have no clue how this guy is in an SEC uniform. Most of his tackles consist of him hitting someone 10 yards down the field from behind. When I think about it man does it really suck. We're really developing some younger guys in areas but then I remember nobody stays past their junior year to make a cohesive defensive unit. I'll bet both Kwon and Mills book it to the NFL and then we're right back to where we started again in those positions.

They never specified on the radio, but most of Kwon's tackles were assisted as well (5 of 8). I was just pointing out that he was apparently more productive than usual, and he was still overshadowed by Beckwith. He may be a more disciplined player, but he just lacks the athleticism.

Unlike Beckwith, who was making tackles at the line. I don't care if he sometimes makes the wrong read, having Welter out there is just embarrassing.

I just know the other team seemed to move the ball better when welter was on the field.

It was a classic Welter game. Got a bunch of tackles 10 yards farther down field than he should have.

Anyone that disagrees that Kwon and Beckwith are two of the best linebackers in the country, tell me specifically who is better and why. Otherwise shut the frick up.

Kwon is too small but feisty, hardly an all American much less the best LB in college football..

. Beckwith has barely played in college. You're joking I'm sure.
