LF played great. I was really impressed by Williams as well last night. I think our two best backs are the freshmen

Magee was in beast mode last night, as well.

This is not a knock on LF cause he had a great night, but New Mexico State is an awful team. Lets reasses in 2 weeks.

fournette was the leading rusher vs miss state too

I really think early on they told him to not try to do too much, doesn't have to score a TD every play, yada yada... So he just barreled full speed into the designed lane regardless. Jmo

Well last night was the first time we saw those holes open up. It was like night and day from the first snap Harris took the way the offense performed.

Last night was the first time lf wasn't dealing with a bs special package of plays and was just in there running as a regular running back and I'm not shocked that the results were there once that happened.

He looked his best so far this season last night. It's looking like Fournette will come on like Hill did in 2012.

Last night was the first time I thought that he ran instinctively, bouncing outside or reversing field, instead putting his head down and running the ball through the running lane the way it is drawn up on a chalk board. He will only get better with reps and confidence.

He should have had 155 they counted his 33yrd run as a reception.

Pretty sure that was a forward lateral, which makes it a reception.

As Choupique said, he has been the best back all year. He should be getting 20 carries a game.

IMO Williams looks better in limited carries. He runs harder and has better feet as someone pointed out here last night.

I would say LF and Williams run equally hard, but no way in hell he has better feet than LF. That's ridiculous.

He is a horse. The more carries he gets, the better he will look. He can thank Hilliard for fumbling because Miles held Hilliard out until late in the game after his gaffe and this gave Leonard more touches.

I was just saying the annoucers called it as a run so I couldnt tell if it was meant to be a backward pitch or not. Your "pretty right" that it was foward thats why it was called a reception.

They also gave it to him more than three times in a row. He changed direction several times gaining big yardage. He was running of 6+ yards a pop on every play. I think the only time he didn't was a third and short, and his second TD. The speed is evident when he gets in the open field.

To date he has 322 rush yards 4 TDs, 5.75 ypc and 5 rec 86 yards. He is one of only two skill players to have over 400 yards on the season.

Right now he is on pace for 832 rush yards 10 TDs, and 223 receiving yards. I think he will get better and better along with Harris and the other freshman. He will get 1000 rushing yards this season.

LF is a solid back, but i'm still waiting for the "wow" moment that shows he's special. Just havent seen that yet. He's had some good runs, but to me, Hilliard, Williams, and Fournette all look about the same at this point.

I was not a fan of the peewee cut backs last night. Where you run into a dead end on one side of the field and double back and go to the other side of the field. That won't work in SEC games against faster and more disciplined competition.

Oh god, here we go with the "all purpose yards" which counts those stellar 25 yard kickoff returns that anybody on our team can do.

Please, if you're a Fournette fluffer, stick to rushing and receiving yards, those are a much better indication of his performance.
