Just talked to our friend in Denver, he says the opposite.

Chicago is
#1 cheaper and
#2 a Friday and Saturday and therefore easier for people to get off work

NYC is
#1 more shows in a slightly better venue for sound and much worse for security
#2 crowded and more expensive

I'd go to Chicago if I wasn't already probably going to see Phish

NYC is expensive

Well whatever, ill ultimately do what yall do. IMO I think they will play better in NYC. They've played best the last night of their runs consistently all year. Not to mention they have a history of sucking it up in Chicago.

eta: Concord is pretty bad venue also. Security is up there with the worst and thats not when tDB is playing. LINK click reviews

Yep; though they'll kind of be coming off of Holidaze.

Yep. But Best Buy can be insane. Borderline identify fest-type stuff.

I'd probably have a higher chance of going to Chicago than NYC, just like BV said, it being Friday and Saturday I wouldn't have to burn but more than 1 day of PTO

If y'all have been to NY but not Chicago, I would suggest Chicago.

Overall I'd agree, but for late Dec-early Jan I'll take the tropical vibez of South Beach over freezing in Chi Town or NYC

Miami was pretty boss last time I went

And like Heady said enjoy the 10 degree blizzards you'll be walking around in and pasty white Midwestern women while I'm doing coke out of a Cuban prostitutes a-hole in shorts and sandals on South Beath

Yea. Youre right actually. New york will be cold as frick. Miami is gonna be warm and tropical.

But
tDB > fish3.0 and

raging with blue velvet, andre, and spaulding >>>>> raging with heady, dan and eddy
