Much better show. The writers do a great job with the interplay among the characters.

You'd think they would have asked Pauley Perrette to review the script for this one. She could have told them to avoid all the cliches.

the NCIS:NOLA pilot was masked as a 2-parter on the original NCIS during last season

Gibbs goes to NOLA and helps Pride solve a murder of a mutual acquaintance

anyway... naturally that's where they introduced us to the rest of the NOLA team .. including the agent from Alabama who's all roll tide

In the first scene, the word "hurricane" came up; and I feel like there was no context for it.

Like the writers just wanted to shoe horn that word in there.
