they had such a sick stretch from Ride to black album. tons of great tracks. literally every track on Master kicks arse

hetfield's vocal melodies are really underappreciated. they're a big reason I like Metallica.

so hard to pick one. disposable heroes is really underrated. love sanitarium. love leper messiah, especially the lyrics. the vocal melodies on it kick arse

i love my friend of misery off the black album, as much flack as that album gets. Death Magnetic had some good tracks, but god the mixing and mastering on it was garbage.

Justice's title track may be my favorite. dynamite musically and lyrically. when the song is closing out at the end and tying back all of the licks, when it drops to just the harmonized guitars, i always get wood
