I don't want Miles gone. I want him to let Cam do what he wants to do and stay out of the play calling .

No one has ever given me realistic LSU candidate since Miles got here that is a sure fire upgrade.

I wouldn't call him the best, but David Cutcliffe is a good coach.

IF , I had anything to do with it:
1 Gruden
2 Jimbo
3 Cam

The only other coach to win at Duke recently, did pretty good at a school in a very fertile recruiting ground.
I could certainly get behind him at LSU.

Well I guess Auburn and Ole Miss were crazy to fire Chizik and Houston Nutt for two relatively unknowns.

I strongly believe we could get Jon Gruden to come here.

Derp. They became bottom feeders before he left. Thus the argument.

Tennessee 's inability to get their shite together and hire a good coach 6 years after Fulmer does not have a direct correlation to a lack of quality new coach availability. Only in your bizarro worldview does firing someone equal being in the wasteland for 6 years. The people they have in place are incompetent- Lane Kiffin for Christ sakes, really?

He's also 60. Same age as Miles.

No to Fedora and Franklin (screams of a Dinardo type hire). Shaw and Mora both turned down the Texas job last year. They are not coming to LSU, and even if they were I am still not that impressed with either. I will take Miles, Chief and Cam Cameron.

I have no idea what the Rants obsession with Shaw is...have you ever watched a Stanford game?

Shaw is Miles. He has lost or almost lost so many games because he goes super conservative after getting a lead.

Shaw isn't leaving Stanford and Penn State is a destination job for Franklin.

Unfortunately, most coaches don't know when it's time to step down. As they age, the game passes them by, they lose stamina, and the result is mediocrity. Les is probably destined for The same fate as these guys:

Bowden, Fulmer, Lloyd Carr, Mack Brown, Paterno, Woody Hayes.
