And what about your need to suceed and acculmlate wealth? One could consider that greed.

Ambition and greed are two different things. And I'm not looking to others for hand outs or discounts. I also don't make excuses for my actions and investments. It's all on me. I won't get fricked over cuz I do the fricking. Naïve or ignorant? I've been offered some great deals promising outrageous returns. I knew they were bullshite because I've educated myself. Stick to shite you know and the only person you have to blame is yourself.

None in individual stocks. Probably some in my mutual funds.

If you don't own them in some of your funds, those are shitty. You use fidelity or vanguard?

I don't believe in handouts but I do know they're some really financially ignorant people out there. And some people take advantage of that. Can't help but be sympathic to that.

You should never hand over money to someone without knowing the details of what you're getting

I totally agree.

But some of these people are at the mercy of someone else due to lack of education or an understanding of finances.

Boom!!!! My point exactly. I educated myself. Nobody in my family knows shite about money. I didn't wanna be poor and I don't want my heirs to be poor. I know some people don't have the mental capacity for this, but most do...if they try.

My financial guy pretty much knows I'll make him wish he was dead and chase him to all corners of the earth to find him if he fricks me over. And he has no control over my money. I just use him to do the busy work. I made that clear to him up front. If he EVER thought about fricking over a client, he best find someone else.

I still don't want to tip because I am on a 'fixed income.'

And all those nieces and nephews can write off Christmas and birthday money too.

Wonder what else I can get out of with this?

I've had clients tell me to do whatever I thought was good, that they're not worried about it, etc. while I project confidence in what they're getting, I still like them to be involved

Did you work for Stanford?
Have you ever dropped your rated for people on 'fixed incomes?'
