shite I was saying this last night and all this morning. We need to start Harris and go spread. Play to your strengths. It's what Gus does. They were a pretty balanced run and pass team last year early until they played us and lost bad. He then started limiting Marshall and utilizing the misdirection, option run game about 70% or more of the game.

We need the opposite. Our strength is at the WR and we need to spread em out and utilize it. Fournette would be great as our main horse back and would be used a lot in the screen game, out the back field, lined up as 5th receiver, and as a drop off receiver.

34 offensive points to 3 offensive points in the 4th quarter

Uh no fournette is not our best back . Not yet . Hes tip toeing throughnthe hole . Miles will not change . He gets caught up with this ( I ll show you we gonna run it down your throat ) . Spread em out let em play if we pass for 400 yards so be it if its there take it if not try something else. I understand we young , but playbthese guys to fit there talents

We can’t run the ball like we normally can.

Bottom line: we are completely green at QB. We are unproven there.

Any coach from Little League on up is gonna stack the line and stuff the run, forcing us to see what we have at QB.

With very few exceptions, QB's take time, game time, to mature.

While the OL has been a disappointment, 5 vs 8 loses almost every time.

IMO the key is finding TE and underneath routes. Jennings has proven to be a deep ball thrower. But the 2-3 times a game that might happen aren't enough to loosen a D up.

Les Miles power running game offense works best when LSU has a great defense. It allows LSU to control the clock and wear down defenses and win games in the fourth quarter. BUT....we don't have a great defensive front 7 and have played from behind against the 2 best teams we have faced.

The offensive game plan used in the 1st half against Wisconsin and MSU will get us maybe 2 more wins this year (NMS and Ky). LSU does not have a dominate O-line or D-line at this point. IF the future of this team are the young skill players then tailor the offense around them.

If we are going to lose games because of inexperience at qb then I would rather them use a balanced offense that at least gives us a chance to win. These young qb's cannot mature by handing off on 1st and 2nd down and passing on 3rd and 8.

Why is it, that other schools can prepare young qb's to play early in their career but LSU seems to struggle? Why does LSU recruit athletic qb's and turn them into drop back passers?

Miles stubbornness will be his down fall. I think Miles is starting to believe that all LSU has to do to win is just show up, but we don't have the talent like 2011, far from it. Miles made absolutely no changes to his offensive game against Alabama that was only able to produce 3 field goals in the first game and produced 0 in the re-match.

I called for Miles to be fired even when LSU was 7-0 (after we got the re-do against Tennessee) but he grew on me and I accepted his quirkiness. I even said he may be a retard but he is our retard. Many LSU fans have complained about the offense for years, yet Miles produced wins. NOW that offense cannot produce wins, so something has to change......either the offensive philosophy or the coach.

I am not making a knee jerk reaction because of the MSU game. I felt like 8-4 was very likely this season and a loss to MSU was likely. My frustration is we continue to do the same things over and over again but expect the results to be different. That only works when you play an inferior opponent and this year we are the inferior opponent.

that's why there is so much parity in CFB in 2014 the spread is a great equalizer

and what is so frustrating about CLM...we could get even better talent if we went to this style

We don’t have any rhythm on offense. No bread’n butter plays. We don’t do anything well. It almost looks like the Crowton offense again. After what we saw last year, it’s hard for me to believe this is Cam’s plan.

It’s also weird that our recruiting doesn’t really support our scheme. There is just so much broken with this offense, it’s crazy.

Miles is making it really tough to give him the benefit of the doubt. If we lose the best man in Miles’ wedding as our OC, you’ve got to wonder what quality OC is going to want to come to LSU to be handcuffed.

No it worked, we won the sec and played for a title. Diff is the best qb on the roster just happened to be mett and they werent going to risk it in 2011 and im glad they didnt. This is a diff situation, you can go to harris now. jefferson wasnt bad in 2009 as far as being a first time starter, he just never improved.

No not really. You guys are blind. Crowtons offense was always mass confusion and stupid substitutions. Out smarting his own players. This shite we run now is simple. We just dont have the line to over power teams.

How many OC's has Miles had at LSU, IDK but I'm guessing at least 3? Yet we have run the lead toss followed by the no huddle lead toss since Miles has been here. My point is....it doesn't matter who is calling the plays if they are using a playbook designed by Miles.

This is cringe inducing. Followed by the bubble screen on 3rd down for -2 yards.

if miles keeps playing jennings he'll lose games and the fan support. crowds will dwindle. no one is excited about this teams play with jennings in and the scheme being so stupid.
