It's interesting to see a thread like this and see how unprepared people are for a rebuilding year ... ever! I also have some issues with Miles but have resigned myself to dealing with them.

Big Picture: We are crazy young but talented. I look forward to watching this team improve, pick up at least one big upset win and set up for a run at the SEC next year. If anything, we are just seeing the result of the slew of early exits, even for late rounders and UDFA's like Anthony Johnson.

Saban gave us excellence its hard to except anything Les!

Saban got his arse kicked 31-0 by Bama in Baton Rouge.

Took a Bluegrass Miracle to beat Kentucky.

In both games, we had QB issues due to injury and/or youth.

Even the great Lord Saban had his struggles at LSU.

I see you're still trolling the board. What team is your favorite team? Don't lie. We know it's not LSU. You're just a troll from another team.

Good lord, I'd love to see your reaction if we had lost on a last-second hail mary against Iowa if Miles was coaching.

Amazing how all you idiots come out of the woodwork after a loss.

Recruiting rankings say all those teams are pretty equal with bama being the only one with consistent #1 and #2 classes.

Name one O-lineman Miles made better?
Heck Name any player?

Not one player says that Coach Miles help me get to the NFL.

Ask a Saban Player and they will say I am A Saban Man?

Why is that? He required more from them as a person and as a player!

Great Coaches make Average Players Great!
I am not an Alabama Fan
But I am a Saban fan.
He teaches and coaches the right way.

LSU needs to find a better Coach!

Before you comment:
Name the player Miles made better?? That the player says Coach Miles made me better?

im sure if the question was asked to any of the plethora of players that were recruited by Miles and are now in the NFL more than one would say that Miles helped him get there. you think these kids are going straight to the NFL out of high school?

now shut the frick up

Unfortunately, I think everything you've said is true. Miles will drag the Tigers down even further, before Alleva finally gets rid of him. At that point, it will take a very exceptional coach to return the Tigers to prominence. Who is that going to be? I can't say that I can think of anyone who is likely to be available, and who would have those credentials.
