Nope. You can glean a lot by one game against a good team and what I gleaned is that we are not very good and will likely lose 4-5 more games this season.

Some of you guys......man, I think the sunshine pumping has gone to your brain.
This has been a problem for years, and it is catching up to us. We are not as physical, we're not as dominant, we're not bigger than everyone else either.
People with plenty of football knowledge have been pointing this out for a long time, and it is pathetic how the head coach will absolutely not change a thing to at least keep opposing defenses guessing.
It's stupidity writ large.

I just think its funny that everyone knows that this is a rebuilding year and that we very well could lose 5 games and lose to teams like MSU and Ole Miss, then they freak out when it happens.

Nope, not hardly. I've been a loyal fan for roughly 40 years. I was a big fan of Cholly Mac right up to the end. A lot of people say the game changed and passed Mac by. I gave DiNardo and Hallman the benefit of many doubts and a lot of people here have done the same with Miles.
I've about come to the conclusion that the game has passed Miles by. I think he is incapable of thinking any differently about football.

Uh no it's not the lost its the way they lost ,they got beat down. When the last time Miss St got to play back ups cause they were winning! We got our asses handed to us, the last two Td's were bullshite 1st one was against back ups 2nd one was because a back up center was in getting PT because we were getting raped, if anything Mullen got to confident!!

People were predicting 4-5 losses. We lose and they freak out. They said wed struggle against wisky, we did and the fan base freaks out, they say this is the best chance state has at winning, they do and people freak out. This team is exactly what we thought it was all summer. People freak out.

We lost to Mississippi State at home. Saturday night. Embarrassed. The score doesn't reflect on how bad we looked. Our "strong" side of the team, the defense, couldn't come close to not only stopping Dak but also stopping the run. Another "strong" side would be the OLINE who couldn't get any push. People aren't giving up, it's just reality. Rebuild season.
