Speaking from experience, I would say the best for the money is the Kahr CW 9mm, 40 or 45. You can pick one up for around $350 new. I love it.

Kahr CM9. Don't get the Solo. You can only shoot 147 grain bullets or it will jam. (From what I'm told) And it's like $800, bought my Kahr for $350.

You mean a Kahr CW9? The CM are about $200 more and there are few differences.

I have one of these and it is hard to make it fit for me. I don't wear baggy clothing for work (slim slacks and a tucked in shirt) and you can see the outline of my P238. IWB carrying for someone who is in shape and wears fitted clothing is kinda hard to do

I'm in great shape and wear slim-fitting clothes and I have no trouble.

Lefty is correct. The CM9 is the cheaper version of the PM9. They are dimensionally identical but the CM9 costs less to make and only includes one mag, hence the sub-$400 price tag.

EDIT: Picture for comparison. CW9 on the left, PM9 on the right. Like I said, the CM9 is the same size as the PM9.

May kinda be highjacking the thread, but bapple's pic brings to mind a conversion I've read of some doing on the Kahr Forum. Buy a Kahr CW9, cut 1" off the bottom of the grip and now you'll have a hybrid CW/CM9. It will have a barrel 1/2" or so longer than the CM9 but will have the same grip length as the CM9. Once could use the CM9 mags for cc and the higher capacity CW9 mag for an extended, back up mag. I might do that some day if I come across a really good buy on a CW9.
