but even if the second part were true, and I don't think it is, that would have more to do with the 56-0 score deep in the 4th
Additionally, this press conference was announced yesterday or early this morning no? before anyone could see the ratings (even if they're available now)

they only have a 2 week sample to work with, a move to network immediately comes with tens of millions of viewers for a juggernaut like the NFL.
plus looking at the score, that would have to be a maaaaaaaaajor dip in ratings to change the owners mind in only one week
