I'm not sure why you're so disappointed. If this is a move at all it's an end of bench move and you really shouldn't expect any more than that. Mozgov is the only international free agent I can think of that was both young and good. If an international player is worthwhile they usually get drafted.

Plus he, like Salmons, are just stopgaps. Next season, if EG doesn't opt out and we extend Asik, we'll be able to get a capable SF "starter" with the MLE. If Gordon opts out or we dump him after a solid start, then we're looking at some legit SFs to pair with Jrue/Reke, whether it be via FA or trading cap space for an overpaid SF on a team wanting to hit the reset button.

It's more of most getting excited about any bum we sign off the streets (even if they have never heard of him).
