Kimock is great. I really like his playing but he hasn't been as influntial or enjoyed a career like The Meters. He is a Jerry rip off.

First of all it's ironic you'd call another jam guitarist a junkie. Second, I thought Page and the Meter men was extremely underwhelming. Just a nostalgia act. Growing up in New Orleans makes you biased I get it. But let's be honest with ourselves - Modeliste and Nocentelli are just not good jam musicians. It was very meh.
Locknstep all stars is infinitely better. That's not even a question. You are either extremely biased or haven't heard their set yet. I think Bill Kreutzmann might be a better judge of jam band keyboardists than you. no offense

this board wouldn't be half as interesting as it is if you weren't such a phish homer. I was trolling earlier. It's pretty ignorant to say Magner or Page is better than the other since they play different genres and are virtuosos in their own respective genres.
Let me put it like this, Magner could play everything Page plays on piano or organ. Now could Page play everything that Magner plays? I don't think so.
