Yeah, in the 1800's. If you like your techni-colored 1911, that's great. But don't act like you did that for practical purposes. I have no problem with it, I think it looks fine. Just like I think a 2wd with 35's looks fine. Your money, do what you want with it.

To answer your question, yes, it's purely for looks. Do we really need a dumb thread to point out the obvious? I personally don't like the factory rake or factory tires. My leveling kit was about $60 and it rides the exact same as stock. We're talking 2" here bub, c'mon.
Eta: I don't really get the mud tires on a street queen deal, but it still looks good IMO.

I'm prob gonna level my 4runner to put bigger tires on it solely for looks. (I know it's not a truck and I don't belong in this thread)
