I used to own a dry cleaners in Ft. Worth, those rednecks love their starch. You could literally stand jeans up against wall when the starch was to their satisfaction, and the crease was a weapon.

Yeah, I've always hated that...if you're talking about those sun dress things while wearing boots. Always thought it looked stupid and unattractive, but that was HUGE for several years. I think it's slowly fading out thankfully, although it's being replaced by the mom shorts thing, which is way worse IMO.

Button downs with shorts is fine with me. Just for the love of god, don't put a tie on like some preppy douche wanna be.
And shorts in general are too long today. I think the same preppy douche wanna be group has taken it too far and there are people rocking 2" inseams that look ridiculous, but your shorts should not be touching your knees. There should be some space there.

Those guys' shorts are way too long.
Chubbies are the most comfortable shorts I've worn.
Chacos are fantastic for hiking.
Flat bills need to be removed from this earth.
