Correct. Had it checked and it's only putting out about 12 volts.

Autozone can check and charge the battery to be able to check the alternator. I have personal experience. Yeh, you have to wait on the charge but its beter than buying a battery just to find out the alternator is bad and the battery was fine.

Brian Harris just quoted $913 for parts and labor to replace the alternator. frick THAT.

Alternators are easy to changewith a simple socket and wrench set. Just buy tge part and do it yourself. Dealerships like that labor cost!
