I never understand when people tell me they hate that movie. Or that it's too long.

It would work better as two movies like Kill Bill. The ending is too drawn out.

Then something is wrong with me, and I'm okay with that.

Why all the hate for Django, everyone seems to not have cared for it on this board. I personally loved it and everyone I talk to loved it.

Like I said, I just saw JB (for the first time)

Fair enough. But you need to watch True Romance. I predict you will watch that movie and when it is over, you will start it again.

So many great actors. So many great lines.

Is it white boy day?

All of you are part eggplant.

Better to have a gun and not need it, than need a gun and not have it.

You're so cool. You're so cool.

I've seen Pulp Fiction, Kill Bill 1 & 2, Jackie Brown, and Reservoir Dogs.

Pulp Fiction is the best of those by a huuuuuge margin IYAM. Those other ones are aight, but Pulp Fiction is a masterpiece... probably my favorite movie.

The way he is able to weave together so many different story lines in this movie is unbelievable. Every story is awesome, there are countless legendary scenes. Funny, badass, and a great story.

Kill Bill Vol. 1 (never saw 2 because I hated this)

I liked Kill Bill 1 and 2, but there are definitely some really nauseatingly cheesy scenes and pointless plotlines, especially in Kill Bill vol. 2.

I've never felt too compelled to see Django or Inglorious Basterds, though I hear they are good.

I have this theory that people like Christoph Waltz more in whatever movie they see first. Most people saw Inglourious first though. Watch Django first, I want to see if I'm right.

Exactly my list. I haven't seen death proof so I can't rank it.

1. Pulp Fiction

2. Kill Bill Vol. 2

3. Kill Bill Vol. 1

4. Jackie Brown

5. Inglourious Basterds

6. Django Unchained

Liked all of the above. Resevoir Dogs was bloody, but meh. Haven't seen Death Proof.

I like all of this, but can you explain to me why you like Dogs? I'm going to have to give it another chance at some point.

Sure. The dialogue between the characters to me was outstanding (I won't ruin the film for any in this thread who haven't seen it). Also, there were some great performances in Dogs - Chris Penn, Harvey Keitel, Michael Madsen, & Buscemi. Finally, the intricate nature of Tarantino's characters between films: Madsen's character (Vic Vega) is supposed to be Vincent Vega's (Travolta in Pulp) brother. Vic's parole officer (Seymour Scagnetti) in Dogs is either a previous iteration or "brother" to Jack Scagnetti (Tom Sizemore) in NBK.

True Romance bears too much of the stamp of Tony Scott to be a "Tarantino film". Though I do love it.

Inglorious Basterds
Reservoir Dogs
Jackie Brown
Pulp Fiction
Django Unchained
Death Proof
Kill Bill Vol 1
Kill Bill vol 2

I'd say the top 5 are all unmitigated classics, and I'm fine with putting them in any order. Kill Bill 2 is his only bad film. The OP made the right choice not to watch it.

Does "From Dusk til Dawn" count as a Tarantino film?
