re: Some thoughts on pro wrestling (WWE) as it is today

1. There's no real competition anymore
2. WWE owns the industry

These two reasons are what WWE's whole creative product is based on, they are entitled to doing whatever they want and in my opinion it seems like a time of experimenting with the whole "entertainment" side of it, they do a lot of that (albeit not as much now as in the last few years) which gets on the nerves of pure wrestling fans, I'm sure.

But WWE is fine with 3.0 and 3.2 ratings instead of 6.5 and 7.0's when WCW was around because their bottom line isnt really affected.

As far as where it is now I think they're doing a lot more things right, with Brock Lesnar as the champ. Most of what's happened after Wrestlemania XXX has been better.

truth be told. I never watched WWF really.

I was a WCW person and would go to Nitro and such.
Just the best match I have ever seen was an ECW match at the Alario center.

There was a wrestler who would have "Natural Born Killer" play non stop while he wrestled and then use weapons. Dude pulled out a Cheese Grater on Rob Van Dam. Lol

But I would say, the Hell in a Cell match was the best match ever.

We had a scrambler and would watch all the pay per views.

_____ is trashy is not only old and played out, but trashy in of itself at this point.

I haven't watched a full episode in years now. I try to tune in now and then but it's garbage, I can't watch it for too long.

Those idiots messed up the undertakers streak.

And with a dumb*** like Brock lesnar.
I hope Sting kicks Mc Mahon's arse not long after he's there.( supposedly signed with em)
Only reason to watch now is Stephanie and all the divas.
