Induce both kids, babies were big and wife is tinny.
He wanted to avoid a C section at all cost and I thank him for that!

All three were induced. All went well past the due date.

our doc did and almost killed our baby. Baby went into extreme tachycardia, emergency c section, ICU, the works...

Our first babies were twins, and were past 43 weeks.
We tried 'at home' induction--hormones from sex are speculated to help potentially induce labor-- the medical community is deeply divided, but I always wondered what it'd be like to have sex with my wife while she tried to hide under a 50 pound beach-ball, so, we tried a lot-- no dice.
We went to the hospital, where a more medical version of induction was attempted, with administered hormones, for roughly 24 hours. My wife waited, I took a nap--all that earlier helping really took it out of me.
Finally, the doctor said 'They're not coming out, but you are probably going to kill us if we spend another day trying to induce, during which you aren't fed, so, off to a Caesarian you go!'
And lo, both were born, and all was well with the world. And I haven't gotten a hard on around a beach ball since.
