This is why I've been saying Mariota will be drafted ahead of this clown. Even if he is a better qb than Marcus, he has way too may off the field issues that appear as red flags for NFL teams.

I'll give him the benefit of the doubt with the rape allegation, but the dude shot up cars in a parking lot with a BB gun and was busted for stealing from a grocery store.

So you tell me.

It was reported that Jimbo said the same thing about JR.

Not the smartest thing to yell when a lot of people think you're a rapist.

It's a long read, but the NYT did a great piece on the Winston rape allegations. Definitely worth a read.

How can you be so sure this will kill the meme? It might propel it to new heights given Winston's visibility and stature on campus; I'm betting a lot of people are hearing about it for the first time today. Indeed, someday we may look back and say Winston's act was the meme's Seminole moment.

just hate the way things are today. This is such a little no big deal thing that ends up getting reported on, talked about, it'll probably end up on fricking ESPN and it's an absolute non story.

If it weren't in Twitter era maybe no one even knows about it aside from the people who witnessed his idiotic antics and other FSU students who hear about it by word of mouth. I think it's ghey how espn and other 'news' outlets take the time to talk about shite people tweeted, but as you alluded to, that's the world we live in now.

I dunno about this "boys will be boys" argument some people are making though. I saw a lot of guys do some downright crazy shite in college, but it was always at bars and parties and settings like that. I've never seen anyone act that way in the middle of the day at the student union who didn't have something mentally wrong with them.
