I discovered early on in my man whore days that by telling a girl up front that I had no intentions of ever marrying or having kids, that the women take that as a direct challenge, they immediately go into a full on submissive role in attempts to try to change your mind. The first thing to drop is the panties.

Who says that marriage is the "end goal" here? I know some couples who have been together a long time and live together and are happy.

I do not remember. This was like 7 years ago. We were a "summit" meeting for work and we all went out afterwards. She was hot, so I started talking to her and 5 minutes later she was crying and weeping about her famous boyfriend and how he wouldn't marry her

This isn't most women though. Especially if they want kids.
Sure you may have a woman say she is happy without the ring....but have her bf propose to her and see if she refuses. She likely won't.
