Did you see the goddamn play? Drew was hit as he released the ball. Nice goddamn o-line.

Saints have 2 deep threats - Morgan and Cooks. Why Meachem got so many snaps as compared to Cooks is very puzzling.
Hoyer is an awful NFL qb. But, he didn't throw an int. Brees is 2 for 2 - 2 games, 2 ints. He's not elite any longer. And, I agree with the sentiments that this contract will be an albatross around the Saints' neck. But, at the time., they had no other option but to pay him. Best bet is grab a qb next yr in the draft and get a cap friendly number for a few years.

They blame all of Brees's INTs on the receivers. Even the ones he throws straight to the LB he didn't see drop into coverage.

This. It sailed on him because he held onto the ball forever and then threw it.

I don't blame Graham. Ball was high and Graham at 6'7" had to jump as high as he could to try and get it.

Graham easily could have caught that shite. Brees let the ball sail though. Both are at fault imo.

Difference in both games despite horrid D was his int at Atlanta and today.

what an asinine thing to say.

That's like saying Besides the 40 points the defense gave up Brees lost us the game.

I don't fully agree with it, but it's not asinine.

No Brees INT vs. Atlanta, it's 27-17 headed to the 4th, possible game over

No Pick-6 vs. Cleveland, it's 24-17 at the 2 minute warning. They need a TD just to get to OT.

Maybe part of the reason is he's asked to pass 40+ times a game?

A non-lobotomized SP calls 10 more runs today

It is asinine because it's saying hey let's ignore everything else and just focus on Brees' mistakes. You could make such an argument for almost anything bad that happens during the game. It's dumb and shortsighted.

NoDef respects his arm on the deep ball and rightfully so...... hes lost some yards on the deep ball.

The pass went right through Jimmie's hand. He short armed it.
It was a dangerous pass none the less.

Whatever else is wrong, the receivers are never open down the field. You know that moment after drew throws it deep and the camera is panning across the field and you're waiting to see who is in position to catch it? I have yet to see the camera pick up a receiver with a step on his cover man. Not once.

I know it is blasphemy to talk negatively about Brees, but he has cost us this game and many other games over the years with some pretty fricking stupid interceptions.
