The Curley years have absolutely nothing to do with the current state of our O line. If they don't get this thing figured out, we become one-dimensional and force our young QBs to start throwing more...which = recipe for disaster.

I'll take 31-0 > 66-21 type score all day long. Offense wins games and defense wins championships

naw.....I've got faith.....would just rather see some improvement in that area sooner rather than later. Coming to the game next week with 2 Moo State grads who are already talking serious shite, particularly about our line. I don't want to have to drive back to Shreveport listening to their hot garage if by some chance they figure out a way to win at TS.

Last night was the perfect "tune-up" game. We played a good enough cupcake to atleast give us a game. ULM's defense isn't anything to laugh at as far as SBC teams go. Games like last night will do wonders for the teams growth and maturity. Also ULM is 2nd team so I am glad they didn't get blown out too bad.

I really think most fans don't know shite about the game and only pay attention to results. I think those fans are the ones who mistake having concerns for whining

Criticism is fine, but when a poster tacks on

"get ready for the Independence Bowl "

or

"Les is content to win 6/7 games a year"

or

"Les needs to get his hands off of our offense, we're back to the JJ years"

at the end of a stated concern, it tends to turn the legitimate criticism into over-the-top whining.

No, not everyone who has posted criticism about our offense has done that. But enough posters have used last night's game as a reason to go full on rantard that threads like this are inevitable.

Well i'am happy with the 31 points. I'am not happy how we got them. The defense looked real good. I didn't like the 1 receiver route or the running up the middle . Looks like les is scared to let the qb's make a mistake. Lets just say come this sat night, if we don't have a short passing game we won't get crap running up the middle on state. They have a very good defense this year, If we play the same as we did tonight don't be supprised if state beats us .

If I were new around here, I would think that some of these posters were joking, but I know better. There are straight up insufferable idiots on this board.

I don't think there's anything wrong with wanting to see improvement week to week. That's what needs to happen if we want to have a shot in hell of winning those October road games.

Last weeks game was an improvement from week one. I just don't see where we improved from week two. And this is the type of opponent where we should've been able to see it.

Nah they are just sidewalk fans who expect 56-0 wins every week. They don't know shite about football and don't know that it takes time even a whole season for a team as young as this to mature.

Whether this team will be good or not is a long way from being decided unless you can see to future. This team is good enough to be 3-0 with a win over a NR team and the last 2 wins having a combined score of 87-0.

Is everything clicking like a well tuned clock.....no. Is this a bad team....no.

Why don't we hold our water and not be a rush to piss on a team that's ranked in the Top 10.

Someone dig up the rant thread of when we demolished Miss State 45-0 in 07 and the rant lost it's mind of how shitty we were.

But seriously. Imagine being a player or a recruit reading this and seeing fans blasting you and picking you apart on a 31-0 win. 31-0.

Been hearing this nonsense for years now. It clearly doesn't impact our recruiting so just stop trotting out this tired argument.

We won 31-0. No injuries so that's good. Offense looked like shite mostly so that's bad. We were up 10-0 at halftime against ULM. The vaunted ULM defense made us go 3 and out numerous times. Play calling was boring and didn't help our young offense get better.

Did we beat a top SEC team 31-0? No, so pump the brakes and see the bigger picture of this "preseason" game and realize what will happen if we blame a top SEC team with the same offensive strategy as we did last night.

The defense looks great (well against two very bad teams) so I'm going to hold off crowning our great D until we play a team with a pulse. (I'm throwing out the Whisky game because we were trashed for basically 3 quarters).

You might be right but I'll take a quote from Finebaum which sounded like an unbiased comment to be. No sarcasm

"LSU fans eat their own more than any other fanbase in college football."

I would have to agree with that whole heartily.

1/2 time scores don't mean shite and while fan forums might not play a big deal most times, it's nonsense to think players/parents would never be effected by the never ending negative BS posted on the Rant.

no, you're labeled a hater when all you ever do is voice concerns and are never satisfied with possible objective explanations...I've never seen you post much of anything on this board or the recruiting board that isn't much more than low-level bitching
