You must be a kid. The alumni base in Houston is over 100,000. Have you ever heard the word recruiting? Before A&M joined the SEC, we could cherry pick from the state of Texas. Now that the SEC is in Texas, we need to show the recruits that we want from Texas, that we are just as good or ten times better than any school in Texas. BTW, how many games have you attended in Tiger Stadium this season?

I'd find it difficult, if not impossible to believe there are over 100k alumns in Houston. Where'd you get that stat?
