Then you haven't been paying attention. It is being questioned now if this strain(or strains) is in fact airborne.
I saw a synopsis of one study that felt there was a good probability it was airborne. I need to find full article and look at methodology.
Ebola spreading in Thailand could yield horrific results. I hope they can contain this case.

Wild speculation yes
I don't think any virus has ever transmitted to airborne from non

Well then how did he get it? You go to Camroon, chopper to the rig then are offshore a month. Not like he was in a TERRIBLE place. Ebola could be worldwide in a year or could die out. This thread was just to inform you that its spread and the thai gov hushed it up

So....you have ZERO proof that this happened?

Crap I was hoping ebola would stay away from my part of the world. Going to Thailand in 3 weeks.

You should be ok. Just don't find yourself in a situation where a person suffering from ebola is sweating, bleeding and/or urinating on you. Also avoid eating bush meat like antelope, bats or gorillas. Good luck.

I try to make it a point to not get bled on or urinated on so Im thinking I will survive.

If everyone in Thailand died that would be fine by me.

I always start my plagues in SE Asia on that iphone plague game for most damning results

I use Egypt because it has the most ports and airports.

Well arent you just a ray of sunshine. Lots of cool people from Thailand and very friendly to westerners. But nevermind that, carry on with the hate...

I generally have not been worried about Ebola thanks to its difficult transmission, but an outbreak in se Asia could yield so many cases that it would almost certainly start mutating...opening the possibility for an airborne version

Can you post a source that states it was Ebola. According to that whack job website infowars.com there is an article that states Ebola could evolve into becoming an airborne transmitted virus.

Wrong, but I know you were being sarcastic, lol there is a bat (I forgot the name) that is a carrier of the disease and the species I believe covers Australia and Southeast Asia

That's the local warlords and or warlords telling them that it's the devil or that we are even bringing the disease to them. And of course locals will listen to tribal leaders
