Arrest of Adrian Peterson (reported by @MarkBermanFox26) stems from the disciplining of a son with a switch, source says. He’s been indicted

The investigation has been going on for some time with Adrian Peterson, source says. He testified for a grand jury weeks ago.

I wish they'd let the JS handle it but we know what a spineless weasel RG is, so my guess if there is any merit to this...he's fricked

If he was just giving good ole fashioned parenting, im all for AP. If he was actually beating the kid I hope he rots in hell

Getting disciplined with a switch? Nothing wrong with that.

Unless the kid suffered permanent damage it just sounds like he was being a good parent to me. If hitting your child with a switch is a criminal act my mother and grandmother should both be in prison for being repeat offenders.

100% chance Goodell leaked this to TMZ to get some heat off of him.

My bad. I read that somewhere else. I guess he must have a failed a test to get into stage 2. Do they usually inform the public about a first time flunk?

Same here. Sometimes my mom even made me pick the switch.

This reminds me of last year when "his" toddler died and everybody was so crushed for him and he was like "umm... yeah it sucks" and you could pretty much tell that he had never even known the kid or spent more than an hour with him tops.
AP's true colors coming out.

If he didn't beat the shite out of the kid, this is ridiculous.

I had to everytime. For both of them. It sucked worse than actually being hit with it.
ETA: If that's what all this is about then it's complete bullshite.

He probably didn't. And now again, with the PC culture roger brought to the NFL an in the circumstances he has put himself in this week
Peterson will be judged quickly and harshly before he ever has his day in court
