This is a dumb post. Lester Earl has no part in Drake's life.

Let's see:

- head concusions.
- roided out women abusers.
- meat heads who can't spell thier own name (and that's just the coaches).
- dwindling, if not dying sport - see reasons above.

versus focus on world's most popular sport? hell, cricket and table tennis have more fans than American football.

Yeah, a real head scratcher there.

Yeah, but he was a better soccer player than he was a football player.

As good as Ryan was, he had to redshirt at Maryland, because of the talent level already stockpiled there.

He was a PHENOMENAL talent. He probably ran a sub 4.5 40 and had all the skill in the world.

He quit playing football pretty early (middle school?) if I recall

If he's really passionate about soccer, I can understand not playing football. The season overlap is really bad-my son ended up only getting to play in about 40% of the teams soccer games by the time he finished the playoffs. And as good as he was at football, soccer was always his passion. It's a shame there are virtually zero opportunities to play at the next level in this part of the country. And if Drake isn't playing select soccer in addition to the HS season, his chances to get noticed by colleges drop dramatically. Personal experience here.
