FBD - RA Gose while mourning the loss of my 50 year old oak tree

New neighbors came in two years ago and built a massive new house, but cut down half of the tree (on their side of the fence) to do it. Poor thing slowly started dying off, so I put it out of it's misery.

You salty, brah?

They've filled my Lifeline Fifty/Fifty and my glass one that clearly shows another brewery's label multiple times without ever batting an eye.

I'm not saying you're a liar...but you are.

ETA: thoughts on that one, zealot?

I had a Parish & generic growler and they would not fill either and I'm a 40 yr old father of two, who 100 dollar bills are always crisp.

I filled a generic growler there. A supermarket's growler from Miss gulf coast.

Maybe you caught a bad employee. I'll ask next time I'm in there.

So they fill any growler for their locals but not for people coming through?

Even more of a reason to not support them.

I live in Metry. I ain't local. I'm classy

One time they told me they wouldn't serve me if I wore the shirt I had on again. You wear Duke gear? That could be your problem.

I'll give them another chance, guess I need to talk to somebody in charge, but I'm over that way pretty often, just haven't stopped in a while.

It's really nice fresh on draft. Had one at hay merchant.

This bottle expired a month ago but was still tasty. Would buy again for sure.

At some point, I was under the impression that both Parish and Nola only filled their own growlers. It's a lame practice.

FBD is the other half of my GitM grenade. Man, the aroma on this one is so nice.

Not if you look at a growler a a marketing opportunity. Not saying its right or wrong, but it depends on what you value more.

I know Russian River gets a lot of shite for not filling other growlers, but at the end of the day I don't think the policy hurts them. AND, they have some high-quality growlers so people are likely willing to buy them. I'm not a fan of the screw top growler so if forced with that decision, I'd likely pass unless the beer is VERY good.

Didn't Russian River do this recently?

Eta: thanks Dean. Apparently so.
