Damn, just saw this. That's crazy. Sounds like he will be just fine but will need to rest for a week or so. Hopefully he will be back by Miss St. If he's only out just a week, then as much as it would suck for him it might be great for our overall O chemistry as he seemed to be Jennings's favorite target (with good reason), but now he will have to develop some chemistry with the other receivers in a game that we can afford to do it. Either way, good luck to a damn strong tiger!

Bleeding Purple, if you're having a hard time understanding this get your car up to speed, slam on the brakes, and see which way your body goes relative to the car. It will go forward.

I am having no problems understanding.

I just find it hilarious that so many can't understand why or how his forehead was injured or what the force for the injury was.

Dural was the driver of the vehicle. He was heading north on Nicholson Drive and made a left turn onto Bob Pettit Blvd. without having a green arrow, Baton Rouge Police spokesman Cpl. Don Coppola said. A Chevy Avalanche, driving south-bound on Nicholson, collided with Dural’s vehicle. No citations were issued in the early-morning accident...

From the Advocate article...someone is missing something here, and I bet it is GG, hell he cant even spell his own name...

But that explains how he went forward instead of backwards, and has stitches in his forehead..

Read the article in the advocate, and was wondering what all the debate was about...so, I went read GG's account, reread the Advocate's story, and then I saw the difference...someone lying and it aint about no physics...

The car in your example was not moving when it was struck.

Most rear ends happen when the impacted car is at a stop or coming to a stop but it really doesn't matter because typically the break is applied on impact which creates the same situation. Also, the front car is typically traveling at a slower rate of speed than the rear car causing the rear car to impact.

How do we know his car wasn't stopped?

Bummer. He should be OK of the "news" reports are OK, but he may miss a few games until the wound heals.

Good news that he is at least okay, but it was unfortunate about the auto accident.

Just LSU's luck--I see that Dural received some Heisman very early mention, since he leads the nation in receiving yards per catch & has posted some impressive numbers so far this season. Then read this thread, that there was a chance he might miss the game Saturday.
