I have just about 1 of every gun manufacturer's pistols there is (glock, sw, ruger, beretta, browning, etc) except a sig (a guess after i buy my 5.7 ill get a sig) and I can honestly say my two newer taurus pistols have been outstanding. I will carry the tcp just in my pocket and it gets filthy, but has never had a firing problem. Also of my larger framed guns the pt247pro is my favorite to shoot in .40 cal. Very smooth and reliable.

I dont dislike any manufacturers really, but I think the Taurus is right up there with the rest as far as quality is concerned.

I have two Taurus pistols, the PT24/7 PRO in .40, and the PT 609 in 9mm. Neither of them have given me any trouble. I almost bought the Sigma but decided on the 24/7 instead. Glad I did . I got the 609 in a trade for another gun. I dont CC but I keep one in the truck.
