I put Toyo AT2 on my Fx4 and I Love them!
ETA: go 1 size wider than stock with these tires. they seem skinnier for some reason.

another vote for the Firestone destination AT's
i'm on my second set of 4 so I've got about 80,000 total miles with this tire, they run great

bit pricey but you can sometime catch Firestone with buy 3 get 1 free sales

I think they just came out with a tire with an 80,000 mile warranty, too. I'm sure they carry a high price tag, but the warranty may make it worthwhile.

I agree, but in my experience, no ATs really kill it in mud.

Only tire I've had that ran good in mud was Destination MTs, only mud tire I've used. End of life was deafening on the road. Not worth the extra mud traction if you drive on pavement any decent amount. Besides, if you have 4x4 mud tires are rarely needed unless you're going somewhere where there just is no previously defined path. Now that I'm not stupid, I just avoid those places

I have the Cooper Discoverer AT3's and love them. Great tire on the road with the right off road look. Does okay in mud, but don't expect them to perform as "Mud Tires." Priced right too on Tire Rack. Good Luck.

What about tire size, I'm not sure what I want? Like I said before, I have 275/65R18 but want just a little bigger, not a lot bigger. I don't really know how sizes work, so I'm not really even sure what to ask for when I call for tire prices. I figure maybe a couple sizes bigger will be sufficient. Also, do y'all think I can get the slightly bigger tires on then have it leveled or have to level it first?

275 = tire width in millimeters
65 = sidewall height as a percentage of tire width. So 65 = sidewall that is 65% the size of the width.
18 = rim size

Think I got that right lol. If you want any given tire size's height in inches, google "tire size calculator". There are plenty of them online. I have 275/60/20's on my truck and they are 33" tires.

ETA: 275/65/18 = 32"

Love my Duratracs! Have about 40k on them now and should be able to get another 20k out of them. Have been quiet from the start, track/balanced well, and are great in the mud. Just found out I can get them in 275/60r20 for my stock rims for 224.00 each!!! Right now I have the 315/70r17 which are about 35". Best a/t tires I've ever had.
