How's Hampton looking?

He had a couple of drops early on and came on to make a couple of catches but never had much of an impact on the game. Was bottled up on kickoff returns and he wasn't able to much seperation against Easton's secondary for big plays.

Warren easton only won by two points last year. St amant returns everyone.

Everyone.

Obviously, you know nothing about St.Amant. They lost several key defenders from last year...Reece LeBlanc and Payton Triche, just to name a few.
Well the game is over, and we lost by 8pts this year. We moved the ball really well against them but our defense couldn't consistently stop their running qb or the few long passes to Johnson. And in the end we had four downs near the goal to score and maybe tie the game but we couldn't push it in. Kids did their best, though.

THIS is true. I have never seen a smaller StA team than this one, btw.
Fwiw, Easton only practiced once this week and had 13 players out with illness. Capers-Smith, the QB, played with the flu, as well. They have tremendous talent, but are a poorly coached team. With this being said, nice effort by StA, They will ALWAYS play hard.

StA has sucked since the team with Eddrick Brown, Cody Coulon, and them graduated..... since then these teams have been small

I've counted 4 hissy fits when he's been open and not thrown to.
According to his coach that is just his great passion for the game comin out. Coach says "people think he is an a-hole for going off or arrogant even, but that he's just passionate about the game and wanting to be great and win".

When his number was called, he was untouchable! When his number wasn't called , he didn't move off the line of scrimmage. He took many plays off... along with the pouting. Attitudes can be changed, I'll take him. But they definitely not the #14 team in the USA Toady. If So, St.Amant should be ranked #15. Drove the ball 98 yards 2 minutes to their 1yrd line. 4th and one was stopped at the goal line with 17 seconds. It was a slug fest to the last second, just like last year.

I would imagine a 102 degree fever would sap your energy a little.

Yeah, okay. St Amant should just accept their little moral victory over a illness depleted team and move on.

They thought they were elite many years, going 10-0, but losing in the first round each year. Kinda like Dutchtown does lately. Shoot Catholic High, Denham, Centraland Zachary all have this same delusional self perception. What is it in this area?

You won't find a team that plays any harder than St Amant. I don't think they believe in "moral" victories, but they should be more confident now, whether Easton was sick or not. I saw them in the Jamboree and they're not as good as they were last year, but neither is Dutchtown or EA. Catholic is probably not, either, but Guice is special. Woodlawn shut Denham out, so they're better, and McKinley might have more talent than anyone.
Interesting District this year!

Better hope ascension never gets a magnet school.

If you could pull kids from all over the parish a juggernaut would form.

With Dutchtown stealing Middle School players, they already do.
If Ascension Christian would offer tuition help, they would hurt all three. Or if Ascension Catholic were on the East Bank...

My daughter went to the Elementary School, Faith Academy, Ed, and the public schools are better academically. Carville's right, I wish ACA would do something to attract athletes, it could be big time.

Trying to get my son back in @ faith. They've got financial assistance but you have to apply in January.
