Tommy's would be a solid option. Herbsaint isn't overly foo foo either

They are staying at the Hyatt Regency, so I was thinking about Borgne but that menu may be too adventurous.

Sounds annoying to cater to adults that have an appetite like a toddler

Ok thanks. I think i will add Tommy's for italian, mr. John's for steak, clancy's, then maybe 2 more. When I first met this coworker she told me she hated new orleans so I've been on a mission to change her mind. I will look at herbsaint menu

The frick??

Borgne isn't very adventurous. Its mostly fried stuff and fish. I mean, I like Borgne a lot, but we aren't talking about Square Root here.

You must be eating with really boring people if Borgne is "adventurous".

I know. I mean...Jesus. Borgne being too "out there"? Sorry, hard for me to get over that.

Just take them to a nice steakhouse. That's going to be your best bet.

Doris Metropolitan or Mr. John's.

I do not eat with them. Just trying to steer them in a straight laced direction.

Agreed, but I'm somewhat used to it with my parents.

I'd send them to Walk On's. Tell the old girl she can overlook the beer taps.

I hope you are taking my Cane's suggestion with a little more credit now.

They can grab a Caniac and watch the streetcars go by.

Yep. You gave a great suggestion. I'd remind them of the McDonalds on Canal, too. And if they feel like getting all kinky, Popeye's ain't far.

If they enjoy Italian, Vincent's would be a great place for them. It's delicious.

Since your friend is going to a game, I say Mother's. Not eclectic at all, and she'll have some wonderful interactions with the staff that are so eager to serve everyone.
